Golfer, 90, strikes the first hole in one right after the start of the stage, calls it “magic”

A 90 -year -old amateur golfer celebrates a unique moment when he hit his very first hole in just one day after his birthday. (See the video at the top of this article.)

John Payne, who said he had been playing golf for three decades, achieved the feat on July 18 in a local golf course in the United Kingdom

The longtime player has nailed the shot on the sixth hole, one by three yards, despite the deterioration of the view.

“I did not know that it had entered,” Payne told the SWNS news agency.

“It is 200 meters from the tee to the hole. I never imagined that I would get one.”

Payne said he had hit the ball using his driver and looked at that he was hitting the slope of a bunker before driving directly in the cup.

“When I was told that I had struck the perfect blow, I felt magic,” he said. “It’s a single blow.”

Payne had been playing this same lesson for 30 years without ever scoring an ace, SWNS reported.

“Some people have never had them in their lives and I can see why,” he said.

“I have been playing for 30 years and I don’t have it right now. It’s a miracle because it’s very difficult.”

Given her poor view, Payne did not see the ball dropping.

“It’s a single blow.”

“You play with other people and their sight is much better than mine,” he said.

“They gave me a race comment while the ball landed.”

Payne took golf course in sixty after her retirement from a career in management.

He now plays regularly with a very united group of golfers, he said.

“When you have arrived at the end of your professional life, you want to take care of it,” he said. “You want to have come out and not be locked up.”

He added: “We play Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning. It is a nice little group of eight of us.”

While Payne maintains a club handicap of about 26 years old, he said that he no longer participates in official tournaments.

“I become too long in the tooth for that,” he joked.

Beyond the golf, Payne remains active with gymnasium sessions twice a week, which he says helps keep his mobile joints and his in check.

“Golf is important, but gymnasium is important for the movement side side,” he said.

“As you get older, you need mobile joints,” he said.

“You must be able to turn.”

Payne celebrated her remarkable hole in one with her family, which includes 16 grandchildren and great-grandchildren, said Swns.

Gurj Bowbanks, director of operations on the golf course, said everyone at the club was delighted for him.

“I think we are all impressed by him, and he made us all ashamed,” said Bowbanks, according to the same source.

Payne’s story would have inspired her golf colleagues – and reminded that it is never too late to achieve something extraordinary.
