“After only a few minutes of practice TM, people generally feel more refreshed, clear and ready to action,” according to the website.
“Over time, consciousness is developing, and we enjoy more and more success and happiness in life. TM practitioners report inner peace, more creativity, better health and better relationships.”

In a medically examined webmd guide, experts share how TM technique can help people avoid distracting thoughts and promote a “relaxed consciousness” state using a mantra to concentrate attention.
Some TM supporters declare that ordinary thought is “transcended” and replaced by a “pure state of consciousness”, where perfect immobility, rest, stability, order and “the absence of mental limits” are obtained, noted the above source.

The potential benefits for the health of the practice may include a reduction in stress, anxiety and depression, as well as the drop in blood pressure and better sleep.
While TM, and even normal meditation, can be positive for overall health, experts warn that it should not be used as a singular treatment for certain conditions.
