The Ministry of Education gives five days of northern Virginia school districts to resolve their transgender bathroom policies or face “application measures,” the agency announced on Friday.
The public school districts of the county of Loudoun, the county of Fairfax, the county of Prince William, the city of Alexandria and Arlington were all tried in violation of the title IX after a survey of the civil rights office of the education department which began in February, according to a press release shared on Friday.
The press release cited a decision of June by the Supreme Court, which, according to the ministry, recognized that the identification of a person as “transgender” is distinct from the biological sex of a person.

“The investigation was based on complaints alleging that (school districts) have similar anti-discrimination policies concerning students” identifying transgender “, which violate the sexual protections of title IX,” the statement said.
“The (districts) are also the subject of several proceedings, informal complaints and reports, which allege that students of (districts) avoid using toilets in schools whenever possible due to school policies and that students have seen male students inappropriately touching other students and watching students change in a cloakroom woman.”
Craig Train, interim assistant secretary of the Ministry of Civil Rights, castigated the Biden administration to tolerate such behavior, adding that it is time for “the experience of North Virginia with the radical ideology of the sexes” to end.
The conclusion of non-compliance of the Department of Education prompted the Agency to issue a proposed resolution agreement by which each school district can take corrective measures to prevent any measure from applying the Trump administration.
This action would oblige the districts to cancel any policy or regulations allowing students to access bathrooms, changing rooms or other intimate installations on the basis of their favorite gender identity as opposed to their biological sex.

The districts will also be required under the agreement to issue letters to each school that he supervises in his district, explaining that all future policies related to bathrooms, changing rooms or other intimate spaces must separate students on the basis of sex and not gender identity.
The districts would also be forced to adopt “definitions based on biology” of “male” and “woman” words to be used in all practices and policies.
The Ministry of Education gave the 10 -day school districts to voluntarily accept these requests or risk “imminent” consequences, including a potential reference to the Ministry of Justice.

“Today, we, in the defense of education, are incredibly satisfied with learning that a group of school districts in the north of Virginia – many of which were zero on the ground for the social experimentation of transgender” inclusion “in sports, bathrooms and private spaces of women – are now confronted with music for failing a raw text and a sense of education.
“As a mother, as Virginian and as a former senior lawyer of the assistant civil rights secretary in the American Department of Education, I am encouraged to see that this administration takes seriously the application of long -time civil rights,” continued Perry.
“Title IX has been adopted to guarantee the educational equality of women in its countless events. But the intransigent schools of Commonwealth seem to have forgotten it.”
