The Pentagon has suspended participation in all reflection events until further notice, starting from a history of dialogue with the Washington Civil Security field.
This decision is an attempt “to ensure that the Ministry of Defense does not lend its name and credibility to organizations, forums and events that take place against the values of this administration”.
“In the future, no DOD official will participate in the events of the last organizations in America who promote globalism and hatred (President Donald Trump),” wrote Pentagon press secretary Kingsley Wilson, on X.
In the future, the Public Affairs Office of the Ministry of Defense (DOD) will lead an “in -depth verification” whenever a civil servant is invited to a conference to decide whether the event advances the Trump agenda.

These security events are often funded by foreign governments or defense entrepreneurs and serve as a space for these players to push a message or a product they sell to key managers and defense officials to publish their own message from the United States government.
This decision comes after the Pentagon drew its officials from participation in the Aspen Security Forum – a gathering of leaders and researchers of the defense industry.
Wilson said that the secretary’s office thought that the event “promoted the evil of globalism, disdain for our great country and hatred for the President of the United States”.
Several senior military officials had to speak during the event.

Hegseth jumped at the Munich Security Conference but attended the dialogue of the International Institute of Strategic Studies (IISS) Shangri-La in Singapore in May.
Aspen previously declared to Fox News Digital: “For more than a decade, the Aspen Security Forum welcomed senior officials – republicans and democrats, civilians and military – as well as senior foreign officials and experts, who provide experience and various perspectives on national security issues. We will miss the participation of the Pentagon, but our invitations are open.”
