The president of the National Democratic Committee (DNC), Ken Martin, does not punch.
“There is no doubt that … We have work to do,” said Martin in an extended interview and sitting this week with Fox News Digital.
But the president of the DNC has so far sees the domestic realization signature of President Donald Trump in his second mandate as ammunition that will help Democrats rebound.
The party tries to escape the political desert after last year’s elections, when the Democrats lost control of the White House and the Senate and failed in their attempt to win back the majority of the Chamber.

The Republicans have made gains with voters who make up key parts of the Democratic Party base.
Martin noted that the party continued to “lose ground with many parts of our coalition”.
But he sees a silver lining.
“When you touch the bottom, there is only one direction to go, and that’s in place, and that’s what we do,” noted Martin.
Position of the survey: the figures of the Democratic Party sink to new stockings
The basis of the party is increasingly angry – and energized – to postpone the agenda of Trump’s second term and controversial. And his anger is directed not only on the GOP, but the legislators and officials of the Democratic Party who, according to many, have not been aggressive enough to fight against the president.
And this is reflected in the polls. Favorable notes for the Democratic Party have plunged at the bottom of all time in a series of national surveys. And the National Republican Committee (RNC) has the upper hand over the DNC in fundraising.
“We have a brand problem,” noted Martin.

Martin stressed that the surveys indicated that “the majority of Americans believe that the Republican party best represents the interests of the working class and the poor, and that the Democratic Party is the party of the rich and the elites. And of course, the only two groups that we have done too much in the last electoral cycle were voters and formidable households.” “”
“This is an overwhelming accusation act on our party brand, and we have a brand challenge there,” said Martin.
Martin said that “people have joined this idea that Donald Trump and Republicans best represent their interests for the future”.

But he argued that “Trump and the Republicans did nothing to keep the promises they made.
While it turns to the mid-term elections next year, when the Democrats will try to win the majority in the House and the Senate, Martin aims the so-called “big and good bill” of the Republicans.
“We welcome the debate because it is the debate that will help us, as a Democratic Party, strengthen our coalition and win elections,” insisted the president of the DNC.

The rival of Martin, the president of the RNC, Michael Whatley, declared last week at Fox News that the bill of national political law conceived by the GOP which had narrowly adopted the Chamber and the Senate in voting almost supporters and which President Donald Trump signed on July 4, will be a “cornerstone” of the party’s message in the future.
It’s very good with Martin.
“If it is the ground on which they want to die, the hill they want to die, we will make sure they die,” said Martin about the Republicans.
The republican package is filled with Trump campaign track promises in 2024 and priorities to the second mandate on tax reductions, immigration, defense, energy and debt limit.

It includes the extension of the signature of the president 2017 tax reductions, who were about to expire later this year and eliminate taxes on advice and overtime.
“This will help each family from each community across the country,” predicted Whatley in his digital interview Fox News.
But Martin did not agree, saying “there is nothing in this bill that will help the Americans who work hard. Let’s be very clear, it is a gift for the richest people in our country.”
The measure also provides billions of border services and codes the controversial repression of president’s immigration.
The massive tax package of tax reductions and expenses is also provided by the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) to increase the national debt of 4 dollars of dollars over the next decade, but many Republicans dispute the projection.
And the new Restructure Law also Medicaid, the federal program of almost 60 years which offers health coverage at around 71 million low -income Americans. This week, the CBO estimated that 10 million people could lose their health insurance in the next decade.

THE Medicaid changesAs well as cuts to food cuts, another of the country’s main safety net programs, were partly written as compensation to pay to extend Trump’s tax reductions. The measurement includes a multitude of new rules and regulations, including work requirements for many of those who require Medicaid coverage.
“The fact is that we are going to move illegal foreigners from Medicaid. We will strengthen the program,” said Whatlley. “These are things that must absolutely happen.”
But the Democrats, for months, have Republicans several times On social security net changes. And they highlighted a number of national surveys last month and this month, including one this week of Fox News, which indicate that the popularity of the bill is in negative territory.
“The Americans are suffering at the moment, and there is no doubt that it is a problem that allows Democrats at this moment to rebuild our coalition, to bring people back, many who have left our party over the years, who had the impression that we do not fight for them and to raise workers,” said Martin.
And the president of the DNC argued that “Donald Trump betrayed them. I do not call it the big and beautiful bill. What I call is a great ugly betrayal, because it is exactly what it is. It is a betrayal for the workers who expected the most of this president.”

Martin said that making spotlight on the GOP domestic package is “at the heart of this conversation” while Democrats are trying to bounce back.
“This allows us, right now, to bring many of these people, once again, the working class, in the conversation with the Democratic Party,” he said.
And Martin, who was president of the Minnesota Democrats before taking over at the DNC, said that the party has “always been the party for the working class and the poor in this country and the people who wanted to enter the middle class. Now we have the opportunity to prove it.”
