The progressive representative Al Green, D-Texas, once again renews his call for the dismissal of President Donald Trump, promising to drop new articles of indictment soon. He compared his crusade against Trump to biblical activists David against Goliath and Anti-Trump like “a million Davids”.

“This is what is important, President Trump is a Goliath. He has a military power. He has people who are faithful to him in the army and the judiciary and in the congress. But for each Goliath, there is a David,” said Green, adding, “but in this case, we have nearly a million Davids, a million Davids for growth.

In June, the House of Representatives voted along the bipartite lines to cancel Green’s attempt to dismiss Trump. The legislators agreed to file the measure in a vote of 344–79. A vote at the table is a procedural mechanism allowing members of the Chamber to vote against the consideration of a bill without having to vote on the bill itself.

A majority of Democrats in the Chamber have joined the Republican legislators to kill Green’s resolution, a sign of the way in which the effort is politically caustic. Only 79 Democrats voted to vote on the dismissal, while 128 voted to stop it on its traces.

Despite this, Green said that he was not discouraged, telling journalists on Wednesday “we are not going to make a single off” and “there is also a set of articles that I have not presented that I will present. It is not the last time”.

When asked if he thought that the pursuit of dismissal is productive given the majority of the republican house, Green replied: “It is always the right time to dismiss.”

“I think that focusing on the indictment is productive whenever there is a violation of the Constitution,” he said. “Timing is not associated when you have a majority in the House, it is not associated when it is good, it is always good to remove when a president violates the constitution. It is really as simple.”

Impeach of the Trump Senate

The Senate voted to pay Trump during its second dismissal procedure in 2021.

In addition to being known for having tried several times to dismiss Trump, the Democrat of Texas is also known to have inflated the president’s joint address in the Congress in March by shouting and waving his cane to him.

Green was withdrawn from the soil of the House after having repeatedly disrupted the start of the president’s speech, a decision that the Democrat called “Discrimination invites”.

House legislators voted to censor Green for disturbances. Ten Democrats joined the Republicans to vote for the measure. Green himself voted “present”, with the representative of the first mandate Shomari, D-Ala.

Johnson posted: “The representative of the representative of Al Green, the shameful and blatant behavior during the joint address of President Trump, dishonored the institution of the congress and the voters he serves. Despite my repeated warnings, he refused to stop his peak and I was forced to remove it from the room. He deliberately violated the rules of the Chamber, and a vote sent republicans in this effort. “”
