Breakout star Nba Summer League collapses after suffering a frightening injury

Darius Bazley organized a series of notable performance with the Los Angeles Lakers at the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.

But the 25 -year -old striker’s race took a brutal turn Thursday.

Bazley collapsed on hardwood after driving to the basket during the Lakers match with the Boston Celtics.

Bazley stayed on the ground for a few moments in a notable discomfort. The team coaches examined Bazley before leaving the court with the help of a wheelchair. The Celtics won the match.

The Lakers did not immediately update the striker’s injury.

Bazley was drafted by Utah Jazz but began his career in the NBA with Oklahoma City Thunder. More recently, Bazley appeared in six games with jazz during the 2023-24 season.

Bazley had a summer in small groups, with an average of 11.2 points and 8.4 rebounds during the five games in which he appeared in Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

Lakers should play Denver Nuggets on Friday evening. Los Angeles enters the match with a 1-3 file.
