Although the crimes were committed between 2023 and 2024, Joseph was not arrested until January 31, 2025, when he was accused of aggravated rape of a child and detained without deposit.
In a statement on Thursday, the Middlesex district prosecutor, Marian Ryan and the Marlborough police chief David Giorgi, confirmed that Joseph had pleaded guilty to an aggravated rape of a child for having sexually assaulted a 14 -year -old victim. The press release indicates, during the survey, an in -depth ultrasound was carried out, which placed the design time within the deadline when the child and Joseph lived together at the refuge.
After the birth of the baby, swallows in the mouth were taken and tested by the victim, his child and Joseph, which determined that it was 23 billions of times more likely than improbable that Joseph was the biological father of his daughter’s baby.
According to The Boston GlobeUS Immigration and Customs Enforcement also filed an immigration detainee against Joseph. The point of sale reported a spokesperson for the ICE saying that Joseph entered the United States in May 2023 without valid documents but was granted in the country and gave a date to appear before an immigration judge.
Earlier this year, Jon Fetherston, a former Massachusetts State employee who led Marlborough’s refuge when crime was discovered, told Fox News Digital that when he had faced Joseph, the Haitian migrant seized and attacked.
A Massachusetts Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities report, obtained by Fox News Digital, also confirmed that after Joseph was informed that he would lose access to his daughter, he “had become very agitated and began to shout” in Fetherston, declaring that “everything was his fault and he was to blame”.

Fetherston told Fox News Digital that as soon as Joseph had heard that he was losing his daughter’s custody, he “reached the table and caught me and got angry with me and began to curs and shout and shout and swing me because he realized what was going on.”
Rather than arresting Joseph immediately, Fetherston said he had been ordered by the authorities to order the immigrant to a Lyft trip to another refuge in the county of Worcester.
“I’m going to be honest. All the experience shaken me,” said Fetherston.
After Joseph’s condemnation, Fetherston told Fox News Digital “The arrest of Ronald Joseph is not an isolated incident”, “but rather” it is the by-product of an imprudent, opaque and poorly managed system that has worked without responsibility for too long “.

“The crimes that occurred in these shelters funded by the State were intense, frequent and deeply concerning the general public,” said Fetherston. “From sexual assault to drug trafficking and violent behavior, the state has failed both migrants and taxpayers from Massachusetts.”
Joseph is not the only illegal immigrant to have been surprised to commit crimes while living in a Massachusetts refuge. In December, the Dominican National Leonardo Andujar Sanchez, 28, was surprised storing an AR-15, ammunition and around $ 1 million in fentanyl in another hotel managed by Revere, Massachusetts.

In May, the Governor of Massachusetts, Maura Healey, a democrat who criticized President Donald Trump’s immigration, announced that the state would close the remaining 32 shelters this summer. Healey cited a drop in the need for shelters. A declaration from his office said that the number of families in shelters had fallen below 5,000.
Commenting on the shelters, Fetherston told Fox News Digital that the plan “raises more questions than they answer”.

“Where exactly are these unrespoted individuals? The Massachusetts has one of the lowest housing inventories in the country. Do we really expect after two years of non-housing properly, the state suddenly resolved the crisis of the day?” He said. “It is not a policy. It is political lighting.”
