First on Fox: For a legislator, the path to healthy American healthy begins in dirt.
Senator Roger MarshallR-Kan., Used as a first adopter of the Make America Healthy Again movement, a political slogan born on the 2024 campaign path which has since seen large companies modifying their products with artificial additives.
But Marshall sees the initiative, commonly known as Maha, as one that can start sooner than change the oil in deep proud or exchange corn syrup with high fructose content for cane sugar in soda.

He has his own four pillars of Maha, which include the composition of the efficiency of agriculture; Healthier foods and richer in nutrients; affordable access to health care for primary care; And take up mental health challenges among young people.
But it all starts under the surface with the health of the soil.
“The floor is a dirty subject, you know, the word game,” Marshall told Fox News Digital in an interview.
Maha Diehards and farmers are, on an area, in contradiction with each other, he said. For example, the return to an entirely organic food production process without fertilizer would create healthier foods, but would also increase the costs of consumers and agricultural land.

Earlier in the week, Marshall held a round table with a secretary to agriculture Brooke Rollins And the secretary of health and social services Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to try to fill this gap.
“Soil health seems to be common ground,” he said. “The soil so healthy meets healthy foods meet healthy people. Rather than Maha telling these farmers what you can and cannot do, we meant:” What is our goal here? “If we have the same objectives, then we will understand this.
Gathering these two in a room, as well as regenerative agriculture experts, which is a more holistic approach to agriculture that targets the health of the soil in restaurants and improving ecosystems, is only part of its plan.
He also intends to drop a massive set of invoices that are divided into categories that echo his four pillars, including health care legislation, mental health, nutrition and agriculture.
Among the nearly 30 invoices and modifications in the package, a Marshall is particularly eager to see codified. The Biostimulant Vegetal Act would stimulate the use of organisms that can be placed in the soil and lock on the roots of plants that absorb nitrates and more water, he said.

The bill is directly linked to its passion for regenerative agriculture, which uses fewer fertilizers, water and other agricultural techniques of the status quo to produce healthier foods on more sustainable agricultural land, which, in turn, would produce a more expensive and more nutritious regime for Americans.
“It grows more with less,” he said.
Among the various bipartite legislations of the two chambers, there are invoices that would push the screening of mobile cancer with subsidy financing, would add mental health warnings for children who travel social media, require greater transparency in food ingredients, the expansion of employers’ health care coverage for chronic diseases and measures soil health and on -board ticket technology among others.

Most bills must obtain 60 votes to spend in the Senate, noted Marshall, which led to the desire to incorporate as many bipartite measures as possible in the packaging. It is also a subject which, despite the political polarization in Washington, “unites us, rather than dividing us”.
However, with President Donald Trump in power, he sees the possibility for measures to pass as a kind of moment or never.
“We see a moment in our lives when the incidence of cancer, the age of cancer, becomes more and more youth, the age of the beginning of Alzheimer’s is increasingly young, and we think that it is an inflammatory reaction to the food we eat that leads to all this,” he said.
“We believe that heart disease, hypertension, are really an inflammatory reaction … to the foods we eat and the sugar levels constantly high in our blood system,” he continued. “So absolutely, I think, grasp the moment. That’s it.”
