“I have always suspected that Shifty, Adam Schiff, was a crook. And now I learn that the Fannie Mae’s financial crimes division concluded that Adam Schiff has embarked on a supported model of possible mortgage fraud,” Trump wrote.
“Adam Schiff said that his main residence was in Maryland to get a cheaper mortgage and ripped up America, when he had to live in California because he was a member of the California congress. I always knew that Adam Schiff was a crook. Fraud began with the refinancing of his property from Maryland on February 6, 2009, and continued with several transactions.”
“Mortgage fraud is very serious, and Adam Schiff (today Senator) must be brought to justice.”
Trump has provided no evidence of alleged fraud.

“When you said you wanted Adam Schiff to justice, what does that mean?” Peter DOOCY from Fox News asked what Trump said: “I would love to see him translated into justice.”

“Since I directed his first indictment, Trump called me on several occasions to be arrested for betrayal,” wrote Schiff on X. “So, in a way, I assume that it is a bit of a disappointment. And this attempt without political remuneration will not prevent me from holding him responsible.”
A Schiff spokesperson said the charges had been demystified.
“The lenders who provided the mortgages of the two houses were well aware of the Schiff of Schiff Congress Service and its planned use all year round of the two houses, none of which were holiday homes,” the spokesman for Fox News Digital told. “He has always been completely transparent about it.”
The spokesperson did not say if the Maison du Maryland had been appointed as the main residence. Fannie Mae said it wouldn’t comment on complaints.
