Israel calls for international organizations and the United Nations for allegedly leaving non -collected aid pallets while denouncing the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

While the group supported by the United States provides 70 million meals, the UN and NGOs are fighting to discredit Gaza Aid Rival

In response to a request for comments from Fox News Digital on the Cogat Declaration, the spokesperson for the Humanitarian Affairs Coordination Office (OCHA), Eri Kaneko, said that “the restrictive operational environment” in Gaza has made humanitarian services more difficult.

“Throughout this war, we were clear that without significant security, security or unhindered access, large -scale humanitarian operations are impossible,” Kaneko told Fox News Digital. “The United Nations planned missions to provide aid and services continue to deal with important access challenges, many of which are refused outright or obstructed due to unpredictable and long coordination procedures.”

Meanwhile, the GHF joined Israel in its criticism of the management of UN aid in Gaza.

“No one limits the UN’s ability to provide help – certainly not the GHF. In fact, the GHF has managed to operate the reutorization of the UN after reopened from Israel, access to Gaza,” said a spokesperson for Fox News Digital. “The real problem is not an access. This is the execution. The UN currently has thousands of aid pallets inside Gaza awaiting distribution because their trucks are always looted, diverted or outdated by Hamas, armed gangs or desperate civilians. This is why more than 400 United Nations distribution sites are empty.”

The Cogat Tuesday declaration comes shortly after the United Nations Under-Secretary General for Humanitarian Affairs and the Emergency Rescue Coordinator Tom Fletcher pushed a declaration co-signed by his office declaring that “the fuel shortage in Gaza has reached critical levels”.

“For the first time in 130 days, a small quantity of fuel entered Gaza this week. This is a welcome development, but it is a small fraction of what is necessary every day to maintain daily life and critical aid operations”, the press release signed by several UN agencies said.

In response, Cogat criticized Fletcher, saying that he was not aware of the work that his staff did in the field or “spread lies”.

“Fuel has been entering Gaza for more than a week now for essential humanitarian needs, with your coordination. So, either updated or stop spreading lies,” wrote Cogat.

Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), supported by the United States and Israel, has faced severe criticism from the international community, even if the organization has exceeded 76 million meals distributed in the strip.

“Each delivery reflects the bravery and dedication of our humanitarian workers, who operate in some of the most difficult humanitarian conditions in the world,” said acting executive director of GHF, John Acree, in a press release on X.

Cogat did not respond to a request for digital comments from Fox News in time for publication.
