During his 26th week in the Oval Office, President Donald Trump should make a “major announcement” linked to Russia, hold a meeting with NATO chief and join a summit in Pennsylvania while the American race to direct the world on artificial intelligence continues.
On July 13 marked the birthday of the first year of the first assassination attempt on Trump during the 2024 presidential cycle. Trump spent the birthday at his home in Bedminster, NJ, before traveling with First Lady Melania Trump in the final of the FIFA club World Cup on Sunday at Metlife Stadium in the Garden State.
Trump returned to the White House on Sunday evening and should have another week of swirling work.

Meeting with NATO chief
Trump will meet NATO secretary general Mark Rutte the week after the American president, saying last week that the United States sold weapons to his NATO allies to be transmitted to Ukraine while he continues to fight Russia.
The NATO chief will be in Washington, DC, Monday and Tuesday, and will meet Trump, defense secretary Pete Hegseth and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, according to the Associated Press. However, additional details on meetings have not yet been published publicly.
Southern Caroline Republican Senator Lindsey Graham said on CBS “Face The Nation” on Sunday that Ukraine could expect to see an influx of arms. Russia invaded Ukraine for the first time in February 2022.

“In the coming days, you will see weapons flowing to a record level to help Ukraine defend itself,” said Graham on CBS “Face The Nation.
“One of Putin’s biggest calculation errors is to play Trump. And you just watch, in the coming days and weeks, there will be a massive effort to bring Putin to the table.”
Trump and Rotte recently met in the Netherlands in June for a summit, where the NATO chief showed the creation of a flourishing friendship with Trump, in particular by referring to Trump as “dad” for his manipulation of the Middle East.
Russian “major” announcement
Trump teased last week that he would make a “major declaration” on Russia in the coming days when NATO meetings are preparing to launch this week.
“I am disappointed by Russia, but we will see what will happen over the next two weeks,” Trump said last week in NBC.
“I think I will have a major statement to make on Russia on Monday,” he added, without developing.

Graham said in his interview on “Face The Nation” on Sunday that a “turning point concerning the (Russian) invasion of Ukraine arrives”, while Congress strives to impose new economic sanctions on Russia to help put an end to the war.
“For months, President Trump tried to attract (Russian president Vladimir) Putin to the peace table. He put prices against the countries that allow fentanyl to come to our country, another behavior – he left the door open concerning Russia. This door is about to close,” Graham said on Sunday.

The question to which decision -makers must answer is:” Where does this energy come from? “We think it should come from the United States,” said Sommers.
The event should attract demonstrators, the president of Carnegie Mellon calling on the school community to pursue his history of “committing in constructively” in the presidencies through the “political spectrum”.
