California Governor Gavin Newsom, and vice-president JD Vance exchanged beards this weekend for Mass Deportation Policy of the Trump administration after the Vice-President’s vacation in Disneyland in the Golden State.
Vance spent time in California amusement park with his wife Usha and their two children before Newsom, a Democrat, posted on social networks that some families of migrants cannot spend the same time of quality together because of administration efforts to hold and withdraw migrants in the United States
“I hope you enjoy your family time, @jdvance. The families you are certainly tearing,” wrote Newsom on X.

Vance’s visit occurred shortly after the Ice Raids in two California farms, during which federal agents arrested a few hundred alleged illegal immigrants, causing demonstrations against the immigration operation. One person was killed during the raids and others were seriously injured.
The Customs Commissioner and the Protection of American Borders (CBP), Rodney Scott, said that 10 illegal migrant minors – including eight unaccompanied – were discovered in a camillo farm and that he was investigated for child labor violations.

The operation on farms occurred after weeks of anti-glacial demonstrations in southern California during raids targeting migrant workers in local businesses. In response to the demonstrations that started last month, the administration deployed troops from the National Guard and the Marines in Los Angeles, despite the newsom’s opposition.
