Jannik Sinner wins the 1st Wimbledon title in his career

On Sunday, Jannik Sinner promulgated a revenge on Carlos Alcaraz while he won a thriller in four sets on the Spanish superstar and won the first Wimbledon championship in his career.

The sinner joined to climb 5-3 in the final set after it appeared that Alcaraz was about to turn the momentum. But once he had the opportunity to serve again, the sinner dug to win the match.

The Italian tennis star won the last 4-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4.

He only succeeded in the quarterfinals last year before losing against Daniil Medvedev in five sets. Alcaraz won the tournament against Novak Djokovic then – it was his second consecutive victory.

“It’s so special because, you know, seeing my parents here, my brother, my whole team is incredible,” said Sinner after the match.

He added that he dug emotionally to return to his winning ways after the defeat against Alcaraz to the French Open.

“But in the end, no matter how you win or lose in important tournaments, you just have to understand what you have done wrong and try to work on it,” said Sinner. “This is exactly what we did. We tried to accept the loss and continued to work and it is certainly one of the reasons why I have this trophy.”

This time, it was the sinner who closed each shift attempt that Alcaraz tried to return to the match. He run the Spaniard everywhere on the field in the last match before closing any idea of a furious rally.

Alcaraz had defeated the sinner in an epic match at the French Open a few months ago. But this time, it was the sinner who had the advantage.

Sinner, 23, beat Djokovic and Ben Shelton in the semi-finals and quarterfinals, respectively, to win the shot in Alcaraz. He now has four Grand Chelem titles in his name. The only one who still escapes him from the Grand Slam career is the French Open.
