In a few minutes a hot Saturday summer in the northwest of Pennsylvania, the already unprecedented electoral cycle in 2024 was shaken by an attempted assassination on the life of President Donald Trump who had a radical effect not only on the next presidency, but also the members of the staff who witnessed the painful moment.

Eight shots sounded at Butler Farm Show Grounds around 6:11 p.m. Eastern time, about six minutes after Trump took the outdoor rally scene. The rally began on its typical lively note, with the “God the USA” of the old and next one swinging towards “God wound the USA” by Lee Greenwood and engaging with supporters by pointing them towards pointing them as they applaud and brandished signs declaring: “Joe Biden, you are licensed.”

The rally stopped screaming after Trump began his address and was seen grabbing the side of his head before falling suddenly on the ground. Rally lovers were also seen hiding while the confusion seized the small fair field located just north of Pittsburgh.

The secret service agents threw their bodies on Trump as shields as they worked to get him out of the scene and for a safe place.

The director of interim secret services, Sean Mr. Curran, one of the agents who rushed to protect Trump that day, told Fox News Digital that on July 13, 2024, remained at the top of his mind since he was exploited to direct the secret services.

“A year ago, I was alongside President Trump when a alone shooter tried to assassinate him in Butler, Pennsylvania,” said Curran. “My heart will always be with all those who were touched that day, in particular Corey Comperatore, who lost their lives while protecting those around him.”

“Since President Trump appointed me director of the United States secret services, I kept my experience on July 13, and the agency took many measures to ensure that such an event can never be repeated in the future,” he continued. “Nothing is more important for the secret services of the United States than the safety and safety of our protectors. As director, I agree to ensure that our agency is fully equipped, resource and aligned to carry out our important mission every day.”

The Chief of the White House Staff, Susie Wiles, who was director of Trump campaign in 2024 and witnessed the painful attempt, told Miranda guesses New York Post earlier in July in an interview with Podcast that she “at 100%” believes that the divine intervention protected Trump from a greater tragedy that day.

“The way in which the rally itself took place, the graph he made them put on the screens … It was always the last table of the rotation. And it was still on the other side” of the stage, said Wiles à Devine in an interview published on Wednesday. “To ask him to ask for this graphic eight minutes and to have it on the side which is opposed to making him look in a different direction … I think God wanted him to live.”

Pennsylvania Senator Dave McCormick, who was in the middle of his electoral cycle to overthrow the longtime Democratic Senator, Bob Casey, commentary to Fox News Digital, that he was only feet of Trump when the shots had sounded.

“I was sitting only 15 feet from the Rallye Butler scene when the shots sounded. A few moments before the assassination attempt, President Trump asked me to go on stage to give my comments. While I was on stage, he prompted me to wait after he talked about the crowd of an immigration painting. Returning in my place, I looked at his head.

“A few moments later, a bullet intended for the head struck his ear. He went down, then got up and raised his fist at the challenge. This moment captured who he is at the base – a strong leader – and marked a turning point in the 2024 elections.

The shooting injured three people, including Trump, and killed the local father and former Corey Comperatore firefighters.

The press secretary of the White House, Karoline Leavitt, thought about the tragic death of Comperatore in a comment to Fox Digital, stressing that the president “will never forget Corey and his beautiful family”.

The widow of Comperatore, Helen, spoke to Fox News in an emotional interview of her husband’s death earlier in July, demanding the responsibility of the secret services on the way a shooter was able to take blows without intervention.

“We were all ducks sitting that day,” said Helen Comperatore. “Our blood is everywhere on their hands. I am angry. I lost the love of my life. They have messed up.”

“Why was it such a failure? Why didn’t they pay attention? Why did they think that this roof didn’t need a cover?” She asked. “I want to sit down and talk to them. I have the right. They have to listen to me.”

McCormick remembered Comperatore like a deceased heroic father and husband protecting his family.

“Corey Comperatore – A Pennsylvanian, a volunteer firefighter and a father – was sitting behind me. He died by protecting his family. I remember Corey and I prayed for the Comperatore family on this anniversary,” said the republican senator.

Longtime political journalist Salena Zito published a book in July detailing her memories of the day, and said in an interview earlier this month that she refused to hide while shots were shot.

“”I did not go down, “Zito said in an interview before the book released on Tuesday.” There was this inner voice that said to me: “You have a job to do, continue to do it.” “”

Zito was located near the stage and the secure secret service permit when the shooter opened fire on Trump and the crowd.

“The time has these layers that occur,” added Zito while thinking about the 2024 events. “He does not remember them. It lives them. It is this interesting thing that happens. I see a sea of navy blue costumes that surround him immediately. Then, I hear the four seconds. I still did not go down.”

Trump tells Fox Nottias that he would like to hear the explanation ” behind assassination attempts

McCormick told Fox Digital that recent politically motivated attacks, including targeted attacks and the murder of a minnesota State legislator in June, must end and be replaced by a civility that protects democracy.

“According to the attempts of the life of President Trump, a criminal fire at the residence of the Governor of Pennsylvania, to the murder of the state representative of Minnesota, Melissa Hortman, and her husband, these politically motivated attacks are an assault against democracy herself. What is said. Following the attempted assassination, Trump was quickly distant from the gathering. Day later, on June 14, 2024, the National Republican Convention was to start in Milwaukee, with initial concern, that Trump may not be able to attend the convention because of the injury.

“There was blood flowing everywhere, and yet, in a way, I felt very safe, because I had God on my side,” Trump told the crowd of supporters the last night of the RNC. “What is amazing is that before, if I hadn’t moved my head at the very last moment, the assassin’s ball would have perfectly reached its brand, and I would not be with you this evening.”
