The former leading female pro-French IGA Swiatek won her sixth Grand Chelem title on Saturday after having excluded American Amanda Anisimova in the Wimbledon women’s final in just under an hour.

Swiatek, who has already won titles on the clay and hard grounds, had never passed beyond the quarter -finals of the All England Club – so far. After defeating Belinda Bencic in the semi-finals in two sets, Swiatek qualified for the final where she would face Anisimova.

Despite the upheaval of the current world no. 1 Aryna Sabalenka to win its place in the final, Anisimova fought a lot during the 57 -minute match. She appeared visibly frustrated after losing the first 6-0 game, which lasted about 25 minutes.

In comparison, Swiatek looked smooth on the Court Grass, without abandoning a single match to win his first Wimbledon title, 6-0, 6-0. He marked the first female final in the tournament in 114 years in which a player did not claim a single match.
