What could take place as one of the largest boxes in boxing will come back to where it all started this Friday evening.
Katie Taylor (24-1) and Amanda Serrano (47-3-1) will go to the square circle for the third time, this fight taking place at the Madison Square Garden, where the two met for the first time in 2022 to become the first main female event in the illustrious history of the place.
Taylor, of Ireland, defeated the Puerto Rican Serrano in the two fights, the first was a divided decision in New York, while their fight in November, as the main co-event of Jake Paul against Mike Tyson, led to Taylor by unanimous decision, although controversial.

Taylor’s headache cut Taylor’s eye, resulting in a horrible injury and a punctual deduction. Serrano also won 107 more punches than Taylor.
But so far, nothing has worked, and Nakisa Bidarian, the co-founder of the most precious promotions alongside Paul, said that Serrano needed a new plan.
“She has to go out and do something different. The burden is on Amanda and her team to do something different,” said Bidarian in a recent interview with Fox News Digital.
Taylor, in an interview with Fox News Digital herself, said that Serrano “needed this fight more than me”, given the head-to-head record. But Taylor joked that she “wanted to be involved in the greatest possible fights”.

But Bidarian said that somewhere basically, Taylor has something to prove, given the previous dashboards and the feeling of the general public during their last fight.
“It rarely fears to walk around and hear people say that you have not won. So I think she wants to make sure that it is not only on paper, but it is also in the heart and mind of fans who, unequivocal, Katie Taylor beat Amanda Serrano,” said Bidarian.
The two stole the show in Dallas last year at the AT&T stadium, and Bidarian said that boxing fans were “at the dawn of what I think is one of the biggest trilogies in the history of sport”.
Even if it’s 2-0 for Katie Taylor on paper, we all know that these are very close and very questionable fights. I know they will deliver for the third time. “”
