Senator John Fetterman, D-P., Said Chad Pergram de Fox News on Thursday that the 33-year-old socialist, Zohran Mamdani, winning the New York Democrat primary, is “Christmas in July for the GOP”.

“Everything I read about him, I don’t really agree with almost all this politically,” said Fetterman. “This is right that I am as a democrat. He is not even a democrat, honestly.”

Fetterman was a reputation in the American Senate for having broken with his party on politically divisor issues, such as support for Israel and immigration reform. And while Mamdani won a New York primary in June in New York in June, the former New York Democratic Party establishment has not yet fully embraced its socialist candidate.

The Pennsylvania Democrat said that Mamdani’s political rise will be the gift of the Republican Party who will continue to give, telling Pergram that Mamdani “provided the opportunity for the GOP to mark our party” along its radical politics lines, which includes campaign promises, campaign promises, to name a few.

Mayor Eric Adams and former Governor Andrew Cuomo both present themselves in the general elections as independent. While Adams remained outside the Democratic primary in the midst of low approval notes and has since been focused on the federal accusations, Mamdani defeated Cuomo by the classified vote of New York.

Joining the growing choir of politicians calling Adams and Cuomo to consolidate their votes against Mamdani, Fetterman told Fox News: “They must understand on the other side. Otherwise, it is a safe mutual destruction if they all remain in this race.”

Jim Walden, a former federal prosecutor, is also as an independent in the general elections, and the co-founder of the Guardian Angels, Curtis Sliwa, is the republican candidate for the town hall for the second consecutive election.

Mamdani obtained the approval of the representative of the Democrat in New York Adriano Espailt on Thursday, who approved Cuomo in primary. Mamdani said he was in discussion with the Governor of New York Democrats Kathy Hochul, the minority head of the Hakeem Jeffries Chamber and the Chief of Senate Chuck Schumer, although no one has yet to approve him.

While some democratic strategists and experts have nicknamed the Mamdani primary, an indicator of a general change for a party that has trouble finding its place following the loss of the congress and the White House in 2024, Fetterman said that a Democratic primary in New York is “not a faithful reflection of the electorate”.

“It is certainly not in Pennsylvania. It is not Wisconsin. It is not Nevada. If you are watching one of the states of the battlefield, New York has no relevance for the type of states and the type of breed that determines this in 2028,” said Fetterman.

He added: “Is it going to be useful for attack campaigns? Absolutely. It is a gift to the Republicans in this way, but there are no lessons to learn. There is no special insight. For New York, politically, it is a circus mirror of the reality of the politics and politics of our country.”

The Mamdani campaign did not immediately respond to the request for comments from Fox News Digital.
