Commer rejects Biden Wh Doctor’s request to stop the concealment probe

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

First on Fox: The chairman of the chamber’s supervisory committee, James Comer, R-Ky., Seems to have a request from a key player from the former Biden administration to suspend his investigation to find out if the main allies of former president Joe Biden “covered” proof of his mental and physical decline.

The former doctor of the White House, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, published a statement on Wednesday after his appearance before the investigators of the Chamber, calling for the Commer probe when a parallel federal investigation was underway.

Commer told Fox News Digital that it was “another tactic to avoid testifying to the concealment of the cognitive decline of President Biden”.

“Dr. O’Connor does not want to give the American people the truth about the cognitive decline of President Biden, and his lawyers throw all the excuses to see which sticks. We asked for his testimony more than a year ago, but the White House Biden prevented him from appearing before the supervisory committee,” said Commer. “Now that we have forced him to manifest himself and that the White House has given up the executive privilege, Dr. O’Connor has resorted to pleading the fifth amendment to keep the truth hidden.”

Biden’s aids pushed an early debate to show Biden’s “strength”, exhibiting Trump’s “ weakness, “said the book

Comer argued that there was “a long -standing precedent” for simultaneous probes between the Congress and the Ministry of Justice (DoJ).

The Kentucky Republican assigned O’Connor to appear before his committee, which also investigates the signing of Biden’s administration decisions via the use of an autopen, and if it was with the knowledge of the president of the time.

The Biden allies postponed, arguing that the president was the last signaling sign at each decision.

But unlike a previous deposit with the former Biden collaborator, Neera Tanden, who lasted hours behind closed doors, the rest of O’Connor lasted about 30 minutes before he and his lawyers left the room.

“No comments to the press,” said one of his lawyers in response to the shouted issue of Fox News Digital.

A video of the deposition shared by the surveillance committee of the Chamber shows O’Connor invoking the fifth amendment for all questions after his name.

His lawyers insisted that he made concerns that the investigators of the Chamber press him to violate the privilege of patients. An assistant to the supervisory committee replied: “The doctor’s objection would have noted that he would have stayed and answered questions that did not involve such a privilege. Instead, he took the fifth to all and any potential question.”

“This committee told Dr O’Connor and his lawyers that he does not intend to honor one of the best known privileges of our law – the privilege of the patient’s patient. Instead, the Committee said that he demanded that Dr O’Connor reveals, without any limitation, said the confidential declaration concerning his medical examinations, the treatment and care of the Prosecutor.”

“The revelation of the confidential information of the patients would violate the most fundamental ethical duty of a doctor could lead to the revocation of the medical license of Dr O’Connor and would submit Dr. O’Connor to a potential civil liability. Dr. O’Connor will not violate his oath of confidentiality to one of his patients, including President Biden.”

Stressing that a similar investigation was launched by the DoJ, they added: “We believe that the Committee should organize its inserted investigation until any criminal investigation is concluded.”

To argue the fifth amendment was not the admission of guilt, lawyers said.

Representative Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, who made a surprise appearance during the interview, also defended O’Connor while citing the Doj probe.

“As a person who has been a lawyer for criminal defense and who was in reality in the hearing rooms, it’s a bit surprising to hear someone say, if you invoke the fifth amendment, it’s only because you are guilty,” said Crockett.

“We have a constitutional right that anyone may be in fire can invoke. And unfortunately, with this DOJ Voyou, he decided that he wanted to conduct a contemporary investigation, a criminal investigation, involving the doctor – I think he did what all good lawyers would advise him.”

But the Comer’s COMMER Declaration of Fox News digital signals on which he will continue with the probe.

The lawyers of O’Connor pointed out Fox News Digital to their previous statement when they were contacted to comment on the comments of Comer.
