A new bill in the Massachusetts aims to demand that American immigration and customs’ application agents (ICE) and other federal immigration application unmask.
The legislative proposal was presented Wednesday by the representative of the Democratic State James Hawkins.
He calls a new section to the Criminal Code of Massachusetts who declares: “An agent of the police must not wear a mask or personal disguise while interacting with the public in the exercise of their tasks, with the exception of medical quality masks which are surgical or N95 breathars designed to smoke or to toxins during a state of emergency.”
“A violation of this section is liable to an offense,” said the bill, which has been co -pacarraine by 10 other representatives of the Democratic State.

He indicates that the intention of the Legislative Assembly is to promulgate legislation “to demand that law enforcement agents include their name or badge number on their uniforms”, as well as to promulgate legislation in order to “ensure that weapons and special tactics (SWAT) can use the equipment necessary to protect their faces against physical damage while they execute their SWAT”.
The ICE interim director Todd Lyons defended the port of mask by his agents at a press conference in May announcing that an operation had led to nearly 1,500 arrests in the Massachusetts.
“I am sorry if people are offended by them wearing masks, but I will not let my officers and agents go there and put their lives at stake, their family at stake, because people do not like what the application of immigration is, Lyons during a press conference in Boston. “Is it the problem here that annoys us, the masks? Or is someone upset by the fact that the families of the ice officers were labeled terrorists?”
During an operation in Los Angeles of the weeks before, the ice agents said, the ice agents were “doxed” – having their personal mediated information – and people took photos of the names and faces of the agents and published them online “with death threats for their family and for themselves”.
Most of the people arrested in Massachusetts operation had “significant crime in the United States or abroad” and agents targeted “the most dangerous extraterrestrial offenders of some of the most infested districts in Massachusetts crime,” said officials.

“If the sanctuary cities change their policies and transformed these violent criminal foreigners to us, in our care, instead of freeing them to the public, we would not have to go to the communities and to do so,” added Lyons. “Boston is my hometown, and that really shocks me that Massachusett officials prefer to release sex offenders, fentanyl merchants, drug traffickers, human traffickers and children’s rapists in the neighborhoods.”
Trump bouillon that Dems Floating Bill requiring the unmasking of ice, CBP agents must “hate” America
Hawkins quoted the arrest in March of the student graduated from Tofts Rumeysa Ozturk University by masked agents from the Department of Internal Security (DHS) outside his home in Somerville, in the Mass. Ice. Ice accused the 30 -year -old Turkish national of supporting Hamas, and DHS later confirmed that his student visa had been revoked. She was then transported to ICE detention centers in New Hampshire, Vermont and Louisiana, until a judge approved her release and the return to Massachusetts in May.
The bill is only the last of a series of legislative proposals provided by Democrats seeking to unmask ice agents.
US Sens. Cory Booker, DN.J., and Alex Padilla, D-Calif., Presented the “identification standards visible for the application of the law based on immigration” or the law visible this week. They argue that the bill “would strengthen the surveillance, transparency and responsibility for the application of the blind and alarming immigration of the Trump administration who terrorized communities across California and the nation”.

“It’s a bit funny when people make stake in front of Columbia, in front of Harvard, and they have masks – more than masks. I mean, you can’t see anything. African leaders.
“This is the problem with the Democrats. They have a lot of bad things in their heads,” added Trump. “They have lost their confidence, number one. And they really have become somewhat disturbed. I want to do everything necessary to protect our big residents from the application of laws. And they are at the top of the list.”
