The State Department is launching an investigation into Rubio Ai Importer

The State Department investigates an impostor who would have pretended to be Marco Rubio Secretary of State with the help of the AI.

The mystery individual pretending to be one of the members of the cabinet of President Donald Trump contacted the foreign ministers, an American governor and a member of the congress with a voice and text messages assisted by AI who imitated the voice and the writing style of Rubio, the style, the style, Washington Post Reported, citing a senior official cable and the US State Department.

“The State Department, of course, is aware of this incident and is currently monitoring the question. The ministry takes responsibility for safeguarding its information seriously and taking steps permanently to improve the ministry’s cybersecurity posture to prevent future incidents. For security reasons, we have no more details to provide at that time,” said the spokesperson for the State Department on Tuesday.

When asked by Fox News to her from Rubio’s reaction to identity identity, she said: “We are not at a time when I will discuss or portray which actions are taken or her reaction.”

“The secretary … is very transparent, quite transparent, and he is direct with everyone. I think that any description of his reaction, of course, belongs to him. And I suspect that at one point, we will have that for you,” added Bruce.

She also said that “we live at a technological age in which we are well entangled”.

We do not know who uses AI to pretend to be Rubio, but we suspect that they do it to try to manipulate civil servants “in order to have access to information or accounts,” said the Cable of the State Department, according to the Washington Post.

The cable would have indicated that the identity law began in mid-June when someone created a signal account with the display name [email protected] is not the real e-mail address of Rubio.

The July 3 cable would have added that the false Rubio “had contacted at least five non -departments, including three foreign ministers, an American governor and a member of the US Congress”.

“The actor has left vocal messages on signal for at least two targeted individuals and, in one case, sent a text message inviting the individual to communicate on signal,” said the Washington Post also cited the cable.

The attempt at identification was finally unsuccessful and “not very sophisticated,” a senior American official told the Associated Press.
