First of all on the fox: The White House of President Donald Trump renounces the executive privilege for a key member of the inner circle of former president Joe Biden, Fox News Digital learned.
The former doctor of the White House, Kevin O’Connor, was to testify this week in the survey of the chairman of the Chamber’s supervisory committee, James Comer, the allegations according to which the elderly aid of Biden covered his mental and physical decline during the president.
“In the light of the unique and extraordinary nature of questions under investigation, President Trump determined that an assertion of executive privilege is not in the national interest, and is therefore not justified, with regard to specific subjects within the framework of the house surveillance committee,” said a letter to O’Connor sent by the White House, obtained by Fox News Digital by a familiar source.
“These subjects include your assessment of the physical condition of the former Biden president for the president’s office and your financial relationship with the Biden family.”
Biden’s aids pushed an early debate to show Biden’s “strength”, Trump’s “weakness” book, said

When he was contacted to comment, an O’Connor lawyer confirmed the reception of the letter from the office of the White House Council.
The Commer assigned O’Connor last week after the doctor refused to appear voluntarily for an interview transcribed with room investigators.
The lawyers of O’Connor, however, asked for a delay during the weekend, calling for the scope of the “unprecedented” investigation.
“We ignore any previous occasion to which a Congress Committee has assigned a doctor to testify on the treatment of an individual patient,” wrote the legal team of O’Connor. “And the idea that a congress committee would do it without any consideration for the confidentiality of the doctor-patient relationship is alarming.”
A spokesperson for the Chamber’s Supervisory Committee described their “tactical delay letter to overcome the survey of the supervisory committee”.

The date of deposit has not been modified and O’Connor could risk defying an assignment to the congress if it does not appear.
The Tuesday letter from the Board of the White House lawyer said: “The extraordinary events in this case constitute exceptional circumstances justifying housing at the Congress. Proof that the aid to the former president Biden concealed information concerning his ability to exercise the powers of the president – and may have exercised powers unconstitutionally to these powers.”

“After having balanced the interests of legislative and executive branches, as required by the accommodation process, it is opposed to the president that this presents and an exceptional situation in which the need for the information congress prevails over the interest of the executive power to maintain confidentiality, in particular given the interest of the executive power to determine the validity of the previous actions of the leaders”, indicates the letter.

The former top Biden Aids and the current allies of the former president insisted that there was no concealment to the Democratic White House. But Biden’s disastrous debate in June 2024, followed by its astonishing release of the presidential race, raised questions about the ability to the octogenarian for his functions.
Comer has summoned a number of former Best Biden Hores for interviews on closed doors, notably O’Connor, former chief of staff Ronald Klain and former press secretary of the White House, Karine Jean-Pierre.
