First on Fox: A Senate republican believes that the change of regime is the best long-term “solution” in Iran as a fragile ceasefire between the Islamic Republic and Israel continues to hold.
The truce between Israel and Iran arrived at the end of last month, and so far it has kept the fighting that took place during 12 days in the region, which started when the Jewish state struck Iranian targets on June 13. He led to an American strike on Iranian nuclear sites with bunker basin in a green operation by President Donald Trump.
Senator Steve Daines, R-Mont., Which sits on the senatorial committee of foreign relations and previously held a post as president of the campaign arm of the GOP of the Senate, told Fox News Digital that he was carefully optimistic that the truce will hold, but warned that Iran’s deep aggression towards Israel could be the non-globalization of Iran.

“I am of the opinion that the longer -term solution in Iran will be the change of diet,” said Daines. “Because until you have a regime that recognizes the legitimacy of the Jewish state of Israel and their right to exist, and believes that Israel should not be destroyed, I do not think that we are going to bring peace that we need, that we all aspire to see between Iran, Israel and, frankly, in the Middle East.”
Daines’ feeling comes before a meeting expected between Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday in the White House.

There is a Bipartite push Between Mike Lawler representatives, RN.Y., and Josh Gottheimer, DN.J., to advance Israel with B-2 bombers and bunker bombs, but most legislators, including Daines, do not believe that the United States should get involved in the overthrow of the current regime and the installation of Daines.
The United States was involved in the regime change in the country in the 1950s, when the Minister of the bonus at the time Mohammad Mosaddegh was removed and the door was opened for Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi to take control of Iran. In 1979, the Islamic revolution took place, which withdrew Pahlavi from power and saw the birth of the current regime.
Daines argued that any change had to come from the inside, because “if not, it was only a matter of time before this diet lost its legitimacy”.
“The regime change is risky because you can end up with something worse than what you have,” said Daines. “Now, in this case, the bar is terribly low in Iran, but you could get a type of equivalent philosophy, or perhaps something a little better.”
“ Not our role ”: Graduate legislators on peace in the Middle East, not ready for the change of regime

“I think we must have a regime that recognizes that Iran and their long-term prosperity will be linked to the bringing the West and to be an ally of the West and not to be an ally of China, in Russia, in North Korea,” he continued.

“A ceasefire is not the end. It is a means. A ceasefire simply says:” Okay, we are still at war, but we are not going to shoot for a while. “This is what a cease-fire is,” said Daines. “Sustainable peace will be when Iranian management recognizes the legitimacy of Israel as a Jewish state.”
“Until this happens, I think that Iran will remain a threat, especially if the regime, whether the current regime or a regime that has changed that has an ideology similar to that of the current regime, that Israel must be destroyed,” he continued. “It is not a peaceful result. It only delays what could be a future development of nuclear capacities and a kind of first strike in Iran, either against Israel or against the United States.”
