American veterans have attacked grenades while distributing aid to Gaza

Two American veterans working with the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) in the United States and Israelis (GHF) were injured during an attack while distributing aid to the Palestinians. The two veterans would receive medical treatments and are in a stable state. GHF said the Americans were “very decorated” veterans.

“The GHF has repeatedly warned credible threats to Hamas, including explicit plans to target American staff, Palestinian humanitarian workers and civilians who count on our food sites. Today’s attack tragically affirms these warnings,” wrote the organization on X.

The GHF promised that it was still attached to the mission of providing aid to the Gazans, even in the face of violent attacks.

The organization then published an image of pomegranate fragments left with the attack, showing that weapons were filled with ball bearings. The GHF said that after launching the grenades, the two attackers met a crowd of civilians. According to the executive president of the GHF, the Reverend Johnnie Moore, the grenades were deemed of Iranian origin and were “commonly used by Hamas”.

“I am sorry to also say that today’s terrorist attack against the Americans is partly a by -product of the legitimacy that many in the press and at the (UN) provide Hamas – the amplification of Hamas’ lies on the GHF every day, but also in actively collaboration with Hamas,” Moore wrote on X.

The American ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee condemned the attack, saying that “with Hamas, no good action remains unpunished”.

“The terrorist organization of Hamas and other terrorist groups in Gaza are continuing efforts to sabotage and fail to distribute humanitarian aid on distribution sites and on the way to them,” wrote the international spokesman for the IDF, Lieutenant-Colonel Nadav Shoshani in a statement. “FDI troops have facilitated safe evacuation for new medical treatments. The terrorist organization of Hamas and other terrorist groups in Gaza continue to harm Gazan civilians.”

The GHF criticized the international community for its silence on threats and violence against its humanitarian workers.

“For weeks, we have warned that this would happen. We asked the aid community to condemn threats. They remained silent. We asked the media to stop bleaching the lies of Hamas. They continued to print. Today, Hamas followed by attacking the American veterans with grenades when they have delivered food. Silence is deafening. Not conceptable?

The attack comes a week after the organization said that Hamas had bonus at the head of its workers, American and Palestinians. According to GHF, Hamas offered money to all those who killed or injured one of the organization’s humanitarian workers.

“We are aware of the credible reports according to which Hamas openly targets the Gaza humanitarian foundation and those who work with us. According to these reports, Hamas has placed bonuses both on our American security personnel and workers of Palestinian aid, offering cash rewards to all those who hurt or kill them,” GHF told Fox News.

“The targets of Hamas’ brutality are heroes who simply try to feed the inhabitants of Gaza in the midst of a war.”

As of July 4, GHF said that he had delivered 60 million meals since he started to distribute help in May.
