Melania Trump visits the children’s hospital for the key independence event

Before this year’s independence day, First Lady Melania Trump visited the National Children’s Hospital (CNH) in Washington, DC, Thursday afternoon in her latest “Be Best” event.
The First Lady joined patients fighting against cancer, kidneys and heart problems, among other diagnoses, in the garden room to participate in various arts and patriotic crafts, including rocky painting.
Nicholas Clemens, director of communications at the first lady’s office, told Fox News Digital: “Ms. Trump and our team really darled to be with these courageous children and their caregivers.”

The First Lady welcomed hospitalized and outpatient children with gifts such as teddy bear, puzzles, books and temporary tattoos “be the best”.
“It was fun to see them light up when they spoke with Ms. Trump about their favorite sports and music, and especially when they saw the best teddy bear,” added Clemens.

“It was an excellent reminder of the reason why Ms. Trump works so hard to defend the well-being of children and young people through Be Best. We really thank national children for a memorable and comforting visit,” said Clemens.
Ms. Trump helped unveil “Eternal Flame”, a hybrid tea rose from the gardens of the White House.
According to the Missouri Botanical Botanical Botanical Botanical, hybrid tea roses have high centers, long stems with flowers with strong flowers and a strong floral scent for a Missouri botanical garden.

Ms. Trump was accompanied by Dale Haney, superintendent of the White House land. He discussed the new Rose Bush with the first lady and with the president and chief executive officer of CNH, Michelle Riley-Brown, with the children.
The hospitalized children and the ambulatory children joined the first lady of the Bunny Mellon’s healing garden to place American rocks, mills and flags among plants and flowers.

After the day of the festivities, the first lady visited a three -month -old child in the heart and the kidney, sharing a very special moment.
The child has carried out five different surgeries since birth.

Ms. Trump met the child with her military family, sharing many hugs.

During her stay in the heart and the kidney, the first lady also met a teenager admitted recently and her family.

Ms. Trump previously visited the National Children’s Hospital in 2017 to devote the Bunny Mellon healing garden.

The garden is dedicated to the first ladies of the United States after the philanthrope and horticulturalist Rachel “Bunny” Lambert Mellon and is located on a roof extending on 7,200 square feet.
