A federal judge appointed by Biden intervened Tuesday to interrupt the efforts of the Trump administration to considerably reorganize the Ministry of Health and Social Services (HHS) after 19 Democratic prosecutors continued to arrest the reforms.

HHS announced in March that he would be dismissed around 20,000 full -time agency employees, while reducing the number of regional offices across the country and consolidating several HHS divisions. An HHS on cuts information sheet said that reforms were to make the agency more efficient, save money and guarantee that the most critical health needs of Americans are adequately met.

In response, 19 prosecutors of the Democratic State continued to block the reforms of the Trump administration. On Tuesday, the American district judge Melissa Dubose granted a temporary injunction in their favor.

Dubose’s decision on Tuesday temporarily prevents the Trump administration from ensuring its reduction in the workforce or the restructuring of undergoes, and HHS was also ordered to file a situation report by July 11.

“We maintain our initial decision to realign this organization with its main mission and to refocus a sprawling bureaucracy which, over time, had become useless, ineffective and resistant to change,” said HHS spokesperson Andrew Nixon, in response to the decision.

“The reorganization has been designed to restore the department around measurable and measurable public health objectives as reverse the epidemic of chronic diseases and advance American leadership in biomedical research. Although we are not aware of the decision of the health health health decision.”

Last month, the Supreme Court limited the use of national injunctions to stop the executive actions of President Donald Trump.

However, the decision did not close the door to the legal challenges with Trump decrees.

“HHS is the backbone of the public health and social security net of our country – screening for cancer and maternal health for early childhood education and the prevention of domestic violence,” said New York Prosecutor of New York Letitia James, one of the 19 prosecutors of the State who continued to stop the reduction of Trump administration in HHS.

“Today’s order guarantees that these programs and services will remain accessible and interrupt the administration’s attempt to sabotage the health system of our country. My office will continue to fight to stop this illegal dismantling and defend the essential services that protect our most vulnerable communities.”

Since the Trump administration began its restructuring in HHS, some employees who were released have been brought back.

During an interview with CBS News in April, HHS secretary, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., said that, in some cases, staff had been reduced who should not have been.

“We reinstate them. And it was always the plan. Part of the – in Doge, we talked about it from the start, is that we are going to make 80% of cuts, but 20% of these will have to be restored, because we will make mistakes,” Kennedy said in April.
