An alleged cannibal incarcerated by federal agents tried to eat himself during an expulsion flight, said Kristi Noem, internal security secretary, at a press conference on Tuesday.
Speaking with journalists during a round table that included President Donald Trump and Florida Ron Desantis Governor, Noem said the bizarre incident was relayed to him by American marshals working with ice. The goal of the round table was to discuss the new illegal immigrant detention center “Alligator Alcatraz” in Florida.
While commenting on the need for increased deportation of dangerous illegal, Noem said that an alleged cannibal was trying to eat himself while he was detained, injuring him that required immediate medical care.

“The other day, I spoke to certain marshals who sneak in Ice. They said they had held a cannibal and put it on an airplane to bring him home. And even if they had him in his seat, he started to eat himself, and they had to withdraw and make him attract medical care,” said the secretary.
“These are the kind of disturbed individuals who are in our streets in America that we are trying to target and get out of our country because they are so disturbed that they do not belong here,” continued Noem. “They should not walk in the streets with our children, and they should not live in communities with our families who just want to … raise their children to grow up and find a job, and live the American dream.”
“We are looking for murderers and rapists and traffickers and drug traffickers and bringing them out of the street and bringing them out of this country,” she said.
