Democrats take a page of the conservative game book.

A group of great thinkers from the Democratic Party is starting to collaborate on a political program for their possible presidential candidate during the 2028 electoral cycle.

And, as reported for the first time by the New York TimesThey call it Project 2029. It is an obvious game on the famous 2025 project, the political plan of politics of more than 900 pages gathered by the conservative reflection group of the Powerhouse Heritage Foundation for the presidential candidate of the Republican Party in 2024.

The Democrats repeatedly attacked the 2025 project in the previous race of the White House as a threat of the extreme right for the nation. The presidential candidate of the time, Donald Trump, and his campaign moved away from the document, even as many Trump allies helped to write it.

But Trump, during the first months of his second round of service at the White House, executed a large part of what was proposed in the 2025 project. And Russell T. Vought, who was a key member of the team that produced the document, now directs the management and budget office.

The Democrats behind the 2029 project hope to reach the hopes of the White House behind their political framework while the Democratic 2028 presidential nomination race warms up after the mid-term elections in 2026.

The project is led by Andrei Cherny, democratic editor and head of the state party over time.

“Avengers … Assemble!” He wrote in a Social media message, While he highlighted the history of the New York Times on Project 2029.

The majority of Democrats give their Le Pouce congress leaders: survey: survey

The Democrats aim to escape the political desert after the setbacks of the elections in 2024, when the party lost control of the White House and the Senate, and did not recognize the majority of the Chamber. And 2025 surveys said that the Democratic Party brand flowed to new stockings.

“After several democratic presidential races that have presented the old guard, there is hunger for the next generation of candidates and ideas,” said Jim Kessler, executive vice-president of politics in the center-left, in Fox News.

Kessler, who is involved in the project, added that the effort “is a chance for these candidates to see and test new political ideas. The advisory group manages the whole range of democratic ideological perspective, so that these new ideas may not bring a consensus, but it can act as a show-show room for presidential candidates to test the reader.”

The veteran democratic strategist James Carville, asked questions about the 2029 project, praised more ideas in the party conversation.

But Carville told Fox News Digital that “the person that Democrats need to turn to, whose ideas will count, is the next presidential candidate. People can throw ideas and the various candidates can respond in one way or another, but the idea that a political party can develop a message outside to have a certain power – it has been done before, but it is quite difficult.”

The word of project 2029 comes in the midst of the continuous divisions of the Democratic Party between its creation and its progressive victories.

And this comes as the astonishing victory of the primary mayor Democrat of New York by Outsider and 33 -year -old democratic socialist, Zohran Mamdani, against the former governor of three mandates Andrew Cuomo rekindled the party’s argument as to whether the problem of the Democrats is their policy or their messaging.
