First on Fox: The Trump administration is continuing the city of Los Angeles, alleging that policies interfere with the federal immigration authorities to do their work.
“Sanctuary policies were the cause of violence, chaos and attacks on the police that the Americans recently saw in Los Angeles,” said Attorney General Pam Bondi in an exclusive declaration.
“Jurisdictions like Los Angeles who flout the federal law by prioritizing illegal foreigners on American citizens undermines the application of laws at all levels – it ends under President Trump,” added Bondi.

The trial indicates that the city discriminated against the federal authorities by treating ice differently from other types of application of the law.
The Ministry of Justice argues that the supremacy clause in the American Constitution prohibits it, so they ask a judge to block the application of policies.

“The laws and policies of the sanctuary city are designed to deliberately hamper the capacity of federal immigration agents to assume their responsibilities in these courts,” said the trial brought on Monday. “The ordinance of Los Angeles and other policies intentionally discriminate the federal government by treating the federal immigration authorities differently from other law enforcement agents through access to property of goods and individual prisoners, by prohibiting entrepreneurs and subcontractors from providing information, and disagruating federal criminal laws that the City of Los Angeles Extend “,” Federal practitioner continues.

“The supremacy clause prohibits the city of Los Angeles and its officials from distinguishing the federal government for unfavorable treatment – as the law and disputed policies do – thus discriminating the federal government.
Los Angeles faced demonstrations and riots earlier this month while Ice carried out operations throughout the region, which led to a legally challenged national guard by President Donald Trump. Mayor Karen Bass spoke out against violence in the city at the time, but said that the deployment of troops by Trump had acted as an instigator.
“Last Thursday, Ice entered our city and caused the city by continuing people through home deposits and car washing machine and by presenting themselves in schools and, today, presenting themselves in emergency rooms and homeless shelters,” said Bass earlier this month.

“Ice intervened as a pretext to federalize the National Guard, then, at the White House, the National Guard was complimented for the work they have done to maintain peace in the city on Saturday evening. But I will tell you, the guard did not even arrive here until Sunday. They used it as a pretext to send the American navies to an American city, which will target our own citizens,” continued the Democrat.
Fox News contacted the city to comment, but they did not immediately respond.
