27 detainees from the Iranian prison of Evin still in freedom after the Israeli air strike: report

The Iranian media reported that 27 prisoners from the notorious of Evin prison remain free from an Israeli air strike last month.

After the strike of Israel during the 12 -day war, 75 detainees escaped from Evin prison, according to the Associated Presswhich has cited a website of news affiliated with the Iranian judiciary. In the article, the spokesperson for the Iranian judiciary, Asghar Jahangir, said that of the 75 escapades, 48 had been taken over or returned voluntarily, added the Associated Press. Jahangir also said that the escape had served time for minor offenses.

Iran says its president was injured in Israeli air strikes last month

In June, Israel launched Operation Rising Lion, which aimed to destroy Iran’s nuclear capacities. While Iranian officials said 71 had been killed in the strike, local media reported that 80 were killed, including staff, soldiers, prisoners and family members, according to the Associated Press.

The ministry said the demonstrators launched in Evin prison under the supervision of Farzadi were subject to torture and physical violence.
